AI for Restaurants, Bars & Catering

Custom AI tools for independent restaurants, small chains, food trucks, ghost kitchens, bars, and catering operators. Capture inquiries 24/7, manage online reviews, forecast inventory from your POS data, and grow without growing back-office headcount.

The work that doesn't fit between services

Restaurants run on tight margins and tighter shifts. The work that grows the business, marketing, reviews, catering inquiries, menu engineering, has to fit between the lunch and dinner rushes. It usually doesn't, and the business plateaus.

Inquiries off-hours

Reservation requests, catering questions, hours questions, and dietary asks come in at all hours. Phones go to voicemail. Forms sit in inboxes. Bookings move to a competitor.

Online reviews and listings

Google, Yelp, Tripadvisor, OpenTable, Resy, DoorDash, Uber Eats, every platform demands attention. Responses, hours updates, photo refreshes. Most operators react to the loud reviews and miss the patterns.

Inventory and menu decisions

Sales data sits in your POS. Cost data sits in invoices. Menu decisions get made on instinct because connecting the two takes hours nobody has.

Marketing pulled in too many directions

Social posts, email blasts, loyalty messaging, delivery promos, event nights. The volume of channels is bigger than the in-house resources. Campaigns either ship late or ship generic.

Custom AI tools for restaurant operators

Built around your POS, your reservation system, and the way your team actually works the floor. Tools that survive a Friday-night rush, not just a sales demo.

24/7 reservation and inquiry bot

Handles bookings, allergy questions, hours, parking, dress code, and the 80% of off-hours inquiries that currently go unanswered. Routes anything genuinely complex to a manager with full context.

Catering inquiry processor

Captures the headcount, date, dietary needs, and budget; drafts a quote pulled from your standard menu and pricing; and books the call. Cuts the days-long back-and-forth that loses you private dining clients.

Review monitoring and response drafts

Monitors Google, Yelp, OpenTable, and TripAdvisor. Drafts on-brand responses for you to approve, flags safety or legal concerns immediately, and surfaces patterns: which dish, which server, which night.

Menu engineering from POS data

Pulls sales mix, food costs, and prep complexity. Ranks items by margin contribution and movement, recommends pricing adjustments, and flags candidates for the chopping block.

Inventory forecaster

Reads your sales velocity, weather, day-of-week patterns, and reservation book. Surfaces a daily prep and order recommendation that reduces waste without risking 86s.

Multi-platform listing manager

Hours, holiday changes, photos, and menu updates pushed to Google Business, Yelp, OpenTable, and the major delivery platforms in one shot. No more menu-page version drift.

Loyalty and campaign drafter

Drafts birthday emails, comeback offers, slow-night promos, and seasonal pushes from your guest data. Plugs into your existing email and SMS platforms, on-brand and ready to ship.

Social content drafter

Daily and weekly social posts for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook drafted from your menu, your specials, and your photos. Keeps the feed fresh without consuming a Sunday.

Operators first, coders second

Most AI shops can build a polished app. Fewer can tell you whether it's the right thing to build.

Our team's background spans private equity, M&A, operating small businesses, and serving on boards. We understand thin-margin operations, the difference between back-office work and on-the-floor work, and the reality that any new tool has to survive a Friday-night rush to actually be useful.

That filter shows up in every engagement: we design tools that strengthen your operation underneath, not pretty interfaces that gather dust on a shelf.

What restaurant operators ask

Specific to the questions we hear most often. For general questions, see our main FAQ.

Will this integrate with our POS (Toast, Square, Clover, Lightspeed)?
Yes. Toast, Square, Clover, Lightspeed, TouchBistro, and most of the major restaurant POS systems expose APIs we can build against. We pull sales mix, item-level data, and reservation data from where it lives. Discovery includes mapping your current stack so the build extends what you have.
How does this compare to OpenTable, Resy, or off-the-shelf review tools?
We don't replace them. OpenTable and Resy do reservations very well, and we integrate with them. Where we add value is in the work that happens around those systems: handling off-hours inquiries, drafting review responses, surfacing patterns from across multiple platforms, and connecting your POS data to menu and inventory decisions. The custom layer plus the existing platforms typically beats either alone.
We're a one-location operator. Is this overkill?
The opposite. AI-assisted development has collapsed the cost of building tailored tools. A single-location restaurant can ship a 24/7 inquiry bot or a review-response system for less than a year of subscription fees on the off-the-shelf alternative, and own it outright. Smaller operators typically capture more upside per dollar because the team is small enough to deploy a tool across the whole operation in days.
What about allergen liability and food-safety claims?
Allergen and food-safety responses are scoped tightly. The bot answers from your menu's stated ingredient and allergen data and explicitly defers any complex case to a manager. We do not let AI improvise on health-related questions. Audit trails capture every interaction for your records.
